Would you like to make your bathroom the luxury room of your dreams? Good idea. The bathroom is probably the first room you visit in the morning and the last room you visit at night.

Here are a couple tips for designing your perfect bathroom.

The Master Bath Suite

When planning for a master bath suite, it is important to note the reasons for the space – privacy, relaxation and efficiency. Consider stealing space from the master bedroom, a hallway closet, or even incorporating your master closets into your master bath. 

Master baths may also incorporate other amenities, such as whirlpool tubs, which increase the level of relaxation and luxury. Dreaming of a more efficient place to dress and groom? Think about improving the storage and closet area.

Here are a few other amenities to consider:

Ceramic Tile Floor – consider replacing that old linoleum wih new ceramic tiles for a more luxurious look and feel.

Fog Free Mirrors – After a long and warm shower, why should you need to wait for your shower to clear up? These systems will slightly warm the mirror and keep the fog away.

Entertainment – Many of the newer whirlpool tubs are incorporating such luxury items as televisions and stereos.

Radiant Floor Heating – Is that ceramic tile floor a little chilly on our feet after jumping out of the warm shower? Consider radiant floor heating, which is an electric floor heating system.
