Clawfoot tubs are great.
They look great, that is. In terms of ease of use, and practicality – well, not so much.

I added a clawfoot tub shower kit in my bathroom a while back and have always been glad of it. I’ve heard others have issues like you’re having but it’s usually been because they had one of the smaller tubs and chose a smaller clawfoot tub shower curtain… so they said it felt kind of claustrophobic.. I guess that’s probably accurate. If you want to make one more attempt though you may want to try an Oval curtain rod. It will add at least a few inches of room on each side which can make a huge difference. Hope that helps!
