I read an article saying that the "rich and famous" have been doing this for years. Stephen Speilberg bought a huge, 200 yr old barn moved and restored it. I think Harrison Ford bought a very old run down historic home and made it gorgeous. Of course people like Eric Clapton and most of the Beatles bought old farms in England (some were formerly owned by royalty) but it's a great way to recycle and older homes have much more charm than a new home with boxed rooms. Good article... find out more as I'm looking into buying an historic home myself. I love the charm.. and the nooks and crannies in them. Oh, I sooo agreee!!
