The kitchen is gorgeous!! Another great idea to really recession proof your kitchen is to have Tupperware storage containers in your cabinet and fridge. These containers will save you sooooo much money in food that is not thrown away!! I would love to talk to any of you more about this service we provide.

While I also liked the kitchen, I was surprised that the island was so stark compared to the rest of the cabinetry and the house.

I would have liked to have seen some end panels (to compliment the panels on the cabinets and perhaps something of a tuscan column (scaled down and proportional, of course with a nice plinth) at the ends of the island to complement the Tuscan columns at the entry to the kitchen. It that is too neo-classic, then a fluted column or rustic column to go with the style of the rest of the home.
