Do white walls scare you? They scare me too. White isn’t for everyone, but it does have its place, and when you’re ready to commit, you might even find a few new ways to use it. Like this, for example:
You don’t have to be a teacher to realize the fun of writing on the wall. Liberate you and your family with this fun new idea! What a great way to reinvent the white wall, which, to the unknowing observer can appear to be just that, until you bust out the markers or crayons and create your own masterpiece. Or if you’re not quite feeling your inner Michelangelo, maybe just a grocery list, a quick brainwave, a reminder, you’ll be more organized and feel just a little bit like a rebel each time you take pick up that neon marker.Â

Must Have colors for 2009 from artist Linda Paul: For neutral interior wall colors, try shades of warm ochre taupe, soft apricot taupe. Use a vibrant, deep purple as an accent color in your room. Pillows or even an entire sofa are fabulous in a this color. Spice Colors: Think exotic places and hot spice colors of curry, turmeric and paprika. Chartreuse and olive greens continue to dominate as popular colors. Green represents our eco awareness and optimism for the future. Its neither masculine nor feminine so its easy to create a room that everyone will feel great in. The trendiest color is Hot Raspberry Pink. This trendy color will spice up an otherwise dull room. Use it sparingly as an accent color and pair it with spice colors. All of these colors are going to make an appearance in Linda Paul’s new painting of a fall vineyard and grapevines
