Special Glass for Cabinet Refacing

Answered by Brendan ~ October 1, 2010 ~ 1 Comments » | Respond to this question

I've seen textured and patterned uncolored glass used as elements in leaded glass windows. A herringbone pattern really appeals to me. Is it possible to get doors for refacing cabinets in our Napa, California, home that would have solid sheets of such glass inserted in the frames?

Yes it is possible to have that type of glass inserted into your cabinet doors. I would order the doors without glass, find a glass supplier who can get you with the glass you want, then have the glass cut to fit your doors. It is very common to have specialty glass installed on cabinet doors.
