I have exposed brick and I need to seal the joint between the wood trim of my window and the brick. I am also sealing where the brick meets the baseboards in the interior of my apt. OSI Quad has a "clay" available at home depot which is a perfect match. Not only is the color perfect, but it also has a matte quality and is not so glossy as other products. The problem is that it says "exterior use only" and is harmful if inhaled. If it was not the middle of the winter I guess I could open my windows for 2 weeks, but its 20 degrees outside. Are there other products that can be used that are both clay, not overly glossy and can be used inside.

Phil, if you are concerned about the noxious fumes that are emitted from OSI Quad exterior sealants, then you might check out Laticrete Acrylic Caulking. This product is a siliconized acrylic latex sealant, designed for interior applications on tile or stone, and should work just fine on brick. The company offers 40 colors, which are matched to their line of tile grouts. It sounds as though you are looking for a "clay" color, but you'll have to look at their color chart to find the best match for the exposed brick mortar that is in your home. If you visit a Home Depot, or any tile showroom, in the Washington DC area, I'm sure they will have a Laticrete color sample chart for you to check out.
There are other companies that manufacturer color matched interior caulking, but unfortunately they usually require a larger order than you probably need for your project. I think your best bet is going to be the Lacticrete product, hopefully they offer a color that will meet your needs. Good luck!
