How much should it cost to replace wooden doors with metal doors?

How much should it cost to replace wooden doors for the same size metal doors? Threshold needs to be changed. Trim around door inside and out needs to be new. My husband can take out the existing door to save us that expense.

Cherry, when changing out your old wooden doors for some new steel ones, you can either replace just the door slabs or you can replace the door slabs and their frames. I think it is more convenient to replace a door and its frame, because it allows you to replace them both with a new pre-hung door, which comes hinged in a weather tight frame with an attached threshold. You can purchase a new steel pre-hung door for between $125-$200. Most off the rack metal doors come pre-primed and are available in widths of 32-36 inches, with a standard door height of 80 inches. If you need a custom sized door, or want something other than a traditional 6-panel door, then you are probably going to need to order it from a dealer.
