Crown Molding in Our Remodeled Kitchen

Answered by Brendan ~ July 8, 2010 ~ 2 Comments » | Respond to this question

We remodeled the kitchen in our Washington state home, and it's time to replace damaged crown molding. I'd like to install it around the edges of the cabinets, but I can't get the angles right. Should all the pieces be cut in a miter box?

Yes, you should cut all the pieces of crown molding with a miter box or a miter saw. Free cutting crown molding and getting it to look clean, is virtually impossible. The good news is that miter saws are very affordable. You can spend as little as $40 or up to $840 depending on what you need.
